Typical Files Performed by JTC Consulting

Settle For Less Than Half of The Original Claimed Amount.
 

File reviews offered at a discounted rate:   This service provides an overview of a file to ensure the claim is fair  and reasonable and/or to determine if there are any issues, which may  need to be addressed in more detail.  A short report may also be  provided, which includes opinions and recommendations regarding the  file.

Budget Estimates:   Are discussed up front with each client.  Arrangements can also be made  to notify the client once a not-to-exceed amount is approached when  working on a file.

Forensic Investigations & Fire Investigations: 

Rate Based on Project & Services Performed.

Consulting, Testing, Cause/Origin/Extent of Damage:
Rates ranging from $50.00 to $175.00 per hour, depending on the service provided and are negotiable to ensure they are fair and reasonable.    

High-Tech, Large, Rush & Litigation Losses are billed at a higher rate, while desk files and Travel time are typically billed at a lower / discounted hourly rate. 

Expenses are billed based on GSA mileage and GSA per diem rates for the area, plus actual expense costs incurred for any hotels, car rentals, air fare etc. (receipts provided)

Agreed Pricing Files:

Are where JTC arranges for an agreed settlement amount with the claimant.  
These files are billed based on a percentage, instead of an hourly labor rate, of the amount saved by JTC's services, depending on loss size.   This % rate is negotiated/agreed to, at the beginning of each file and is  contingent on the size of the loss.
